The Wimbledon Men's Singles final was the fourth Grand Slam final that Federer and Roddick had contested and by far the most competitive. Federer had won all of the previous finals at the Wimbledon Championships, the Wimbledon Championships and the US Open.

Roger Federer defeated Andy Roddick in the final, 5–7, 7–6 (8–6), 7–6 (7–5), 3–6, 16–14 to win the gentlemen's singles tennis title at the Wimbledon Championships. [1] It was his sixth Wimbledon title and record 15th major men's singles title overall, breaking Pete Sampras ' all-time record.
